Hermond Lawson
Maintenance Supervisor

 

 

 

PROFILE: Hermond Lawson, originally from Washington DC, joined the Walker Avenue Apartments team as Maintenance Supervisor in July 2007. Hermond joined Capstone Management within the last year at the University of Maryland, College Park's South Campus Commons community as a Maintenance Technician, and was recommended for advancement here at Walker. As Maintenance Supervisor, Hermond is responsible for maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds and supervising the staff and/or vendors which perform the various functions in/around Walker. Hermond is a go-getter with lots of enthusiasm. Hermond enjoys cooking (but not setting off fire alarms), and spending time with his family. Yes, Hermond loves the Washington Redskins, but can appreciate the Ravens.

Cortney Salmon
Office/Leasing Coordinator

 

 

 

PROFILE: Cortney Salmon, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, joined the Walker Avenue Apartments team in July 2006 as Administrative Assistant an was recently promoted to Office/Leasing Coordinator in May 2007. As one would expect, Cortney is a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan, but she is married to Sean (a Ravens fan). Cortney and Sean enjoy living in Baltimore City where they are raising their three beautiful children. Cortney is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Cortney and her family enjoy theme parks and family outings.

James Traynham, III
Administrative Assistant

 

 

 

PROFILE: James Traynham, III joined the Walker Avenue Staff in September of 2007 as Administrative Assistant. James brings a strong background in collections and customer service.

As Administrative Assistant, James performs various functions around the Leasing Office. These tasks include reception duties, taking payments, payment data entry and deposits, logging packages, etc. James’ sense of humor fits in well with the Walker team, but while he has fun at work he believes in getting the job done. (Ask James to do a celebrity impression or two).

James was born in Camden, New Jersey, and moved to West Baltimore at the age of five. James is father of two, and, his hobbies include playing basketball, playing video games, spending time with friends and family. His favorite sport teams include: LA Lakers, NY Yankees, and – of course - Baltimore Ravens.
